About Me

Hello, Bonjour, Salaam and Namaste…

I am Pritam and welcome to my travel world. Honestly, I wasn’t a travel freak until I realized my passion for travel in 2009. The very same year when I packed my bags and went for my first overseas trip to Malaysia!  Though it was for official purpose it turned out to be the most endeavoring for me.

I was away from my homeland and my people. For those seven days, I was the guide for myself. I had to plan my own itinerary and I was doing quite well.  It boosted up the new confidence in me; I met new people, made new friends and tasted the cultural differences.

The overall experience was awesome. I loved being at that very place understanding a bit of the world. Then-after I never looked back. I traveled thru many parts of India and visited 3 more countries. My journey was and is so amazing where I feel that travel is an integral part of my life. I am like that valence electron who is always in search of new and off beat places.

After realizing my quest and passion to see this BEAUTIFUL world, I gave some serious thoughts about travel blogging. Just Like a bug I want to hack every old-new destination like no one ever did before. (Hacking – at this place I meant specifically in a good way!!)  And here on my blog you will find about my unusual travel stories- my visits to different destinations; honest and practical experiences and or reviews about these places.

Being a foodie and a believer that food significantly represents the culture of that place, you will also find posts on different food joints, street food, restaurants and recipes which I have come across along my journey. By the way my favorite cuisines include Italian and Thai food! Want to try Mongolian food…

I enjoy reading books, novels, articles- anything that inspires me to keep going in Life!! Thanks to those of millions of people who have been inspiring and motivating me to live the life this zest, directly or indirectly. And oh Yes, how I can forget about music? Whether I am working or travelling, whether I am sad or happy…it’s always been there to adjust with my mood swings! I cannot imagine my life without music.

I love cycling and enjoy riding bike especially in GOA!! On the road with coconut trees running parallel and following bright and sunny beaches in view… This place has some magnetic effect over me and you will always find me super-excited when I talk about this lovely place.

There are hardly few things which I don’t like and to be honest as of now I am not able to list any of them…Mmmm…Okay! Let me think. Thinking…………………………….. And thinking!!

Hmmm… I never thought I will have to write about this too… seems like nothing is bothering me at this time so I will keep this as pending: P

I can go on and on but I think it’s better if you go thru my posts and connect with me via them. Or I would say Take off with me on the “Rendezvous with Travel” trip and enjoy your ride.

You can always reach me on my email address rendezvouswithtravel@gmail.com or leave your comments below. I would love to hear from you.

Bon Voyage!!!
